Good Friday Afternoon!

We had a great day today - running and bagels and popcorn!  Oh my!

Fun Run Update - Students ran today, even if the weather wasn't great, they had a fun time.  The DJ kept spirits up as students counted off the laps around the school!  We are SOOOOOO close to our goal . . . as of today, we are at $23,400!  Our fund raiser is open for donations until next Friday, Oct. 13.  If your family, friends or neighbors still want to help us out with a donation, you can do so online at www.getmovincrew.com, cash or check (made payable to BFV) sent into school.  We will do our final classroom and student tally next week to determine the highest donor winners.  Come on Beck community!  We can make our $25,000 goal!!!

Box Tops/Tyson Labels - Our classroom winners for the September BoxTops for Education collection are Mrs. Riddles 1st Grade class (1st place) and in 2nd place Mrs. Costandi's 4th graders.  BoxTops are a free and easy way to help our school.  We receive $0.10 for each BoxTop - and with 600 students (420 families) that could add up quick!  Please keep clipping those labels and send them in to school.  We will do a collection winner every month.  Winning classrooms get $25 / $15 to spend on things they'd like for their classroom.

TRUNK OR TREAT - Next Friday, Oct. 13, our BFV will hold our annual Trunk or Treat here in the Beck parking lot.  Participants bring candy to pass out, a decorated trunk, and trick or treaters to visit the trunks!  Reservations to participate have to be made before next Tuesday, Oct. 10.  If you need a reservation form to send in (with $10 per car), click here: Trunk or Treat Registration Form    Additionally, we could use some volunteers to help run the event that evening.  If you can donate some time that night, please go to the link: Trunk or Treat to sign up on SignUp Genius.  Thanks!

BFV FaceBook - Yes, our BFV has a FaceBook page.  You can 'like us' at  https://www.facebook.com/BeckFamilyVolunteers/modal=media_composer&ref=page_homepage_panel
