Happy Last Monday Beck Families,

We had a wonderful Honors Assembly today.  I'm always so impressed by the incredible amount of academic achievement in our students.  We also have a tremendous amount of participation in our service groups, as well as academic and social groups!  Beck has truly well-rounded super students!

A few last minute details to share today:

Girl Scout Troop 75671 - A big shout out to one of our Beck Girl Scout Troops!!!  They used their Cookie Money this year to purchase a trash can for our playground.  A big thank you to the girls in troop # 75671 for taking care of our playground!

Got School Supplies?  It's not too late to save yourself the trouble of running around in August buying school supplies for next school year!   You can still order your child's complete list of school supplies - and benefit our school!  Go online to 1st Day School Supply and place your order.  It's easy, it's fast, and you and your child will be ready for school to start.  The only thing you'll have to wonder about is how you will spend all the extra time in August . . . not school supply shopping!  The website is:  www.1stdayschoolsupplies.com

6th Grade Celebration  - Parents of 6th graders should plan to meet us at Eisenhower High School on Wednesday, June 13.  Doors will open at 1:00.  Please don't get there early.  There are LOTS of seats - and all of them are great seats!  Students will be transported there by bus.  Students should plan to bring a bag lunch to eat early here at Beck.

Data Binders - Every child should have brought home their Data Binder today.  It is our hope, as a staff, that you will take some time and review the binder with your child.  The binder represents their growth this year as a student.  In the fall, they will start new binders, bringing forward a reflection page they wrote this year, their NWEA test data from this Spring, and a copy of their report card.  And we begin again!

Reminder - Thursday and Friday this week (June 14 and 15) are half days - students will be released at 11:29 a.m.

Have a great last week everyone!
